After the pilot bore is completed, specialised reamers enlarge the borehole in multiple controlled stages to suit the diameter of the proposed pipeline or conduit.

Once the final bore diameter is achieved, the product pipe is connected through a swivel assembly and carefully pulled into position using controlled pullback forces.
